Northampton records 17 property transfers as most sale prices await registry update
Northampton recorded 17 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but sale prices were available for only three by report time: $50,000 for 70 Fern St., $391,900 for 4 Overlook Drive, and $540,000 for 465 Spring St., the period's top sale. The median among priced sales was $391,900. The remaining 14 transfers, including several trust-to-family transfers, two transfers to the city of Northampton, and several bank-related transfers following the standard foreclosure pattern, have not yet posted a price in registry data. With pricing available for only a fraction of recorded deeds, overall market tone for the period cannot yet be characterized.
