Northampton Property Sales Range From $65,000 To $835,400 In Late July Recording Period
NORTHAMPTON -- Twelve property deeds recorded in Northampton from July 24 to Aug. 22 show sale prices ranging from $65,000 to $835,400 among the six transfers with disclosed prices, and a median of $192,500. The period's top transaction was an $835,400 sale at 38 Round Hill Rd. to a trustee of the Elmer Investment Trust. New South Street and Laurel Park each saw multiple separate deed filings. Half of the disclosed sales came in under $200,000. Several other deeds involved banks, mortgage companies or family trusts as buyers or sellers, with price not disclosed in most of those transfers, so the data does not support a clear read on overall market direction.
