Northampton Home Sales Cluster Near $660,000 Median in Late Summer

Ten property transfers were recorded in Northampton between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, according to Hampshire County Registry of Deeds records. Four of the 10 disclosed a sale price, ranging from $500,000 to $740,000, with a median of $660,000. The period's highest recorded sale was 11 Plymouth Ave., which sold for $740,000 on Aug. 7 to Jeremy Salwen and Diana Renee Valverde Paniagua. Three of the 10 deeds were homestead declarations rather than sales, and two recorded the city of Northampton as buyer. With prices undisclosed in six of 10 transactions, the data offers a limited picture of overall market conditions this period.
