Northampton deed records show few prices disclosed, Bridge Road cluster stands out
The Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 14 Northampton property transactions from July 10 to Aug. 8, but only two disclosed a sale price: $148,674 for 58 Bradford St. and $460,000 for 71 Leonard St., the period's top sale, giving a median of $304,337 across the two priced sales. Six of the 14 records were non-sale filings, including homestead declarations and estate tax affidavits, rather than property transfers. Bridge Road had the most activity of any street, with four recorded documents, three tied to a single family estate. With pricing disclosed on just two of 14 records, the data does not support a broader read on market tone this period.
