The Northampton License Commission voted to revoke NoHo Social's all-alcohol license over abandoned premises and conflicting leases.

NORTHAMPTON — The Northampton License Commission voted to revoke NoHo Social's all-alcohol license over abandoned premises and conflicting leases. Chair Natasha Yakovlev and Commissioners Jennifer Ewer and Amy Cahilline voted 3-0 after NoHo Social failed to appear at three straight meetings and submitted two contradictory leases, one from 2021 and one from 2025. Yakovlev said "all evidence is pointing to the license holder having lost all control of the premises and the license." The board also approved, 3-0, transferring an all-alcohol license from the American Legion to the Great Wall Restaurant on Pine Street, with George Ducharme as proposed manager.
Commissioners separately cleared short-term licenses for La Veracruzana, Provisions and five Look Park events for the Taste of Northampton festival and summer concerts, and discussed, without voting, a state pilot program that could extend bar hours and allow public drinking in designated districts through July 31, 2026.
