Student Survey Results Presented to Advisory Council

Northampton school advisors review student survey on work-phone use. The School Committee Student Advisory Council heard results from the 2026 Student Union Survey, which drew a 28 percent response rate. Student representative Ana-Lucia Ohm reported that 19.52 percent of students use phones daily to call work during school time, and described the Community Closet resource program.
Member Alenda Bartoli suggested stratifying results by academic performance and adding bullying questions for future surveys, while Member Amy Martyn recommended trend analyses to track survey changes over time.
