Student Advisory Council hears concerns on bathrooms and lunches

Northampton students air facility and policy concerns before advisory council. Student Union and National Honor Society representatives presented concerns to Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra and eight members of the Student Advisory Council regarding bathroom access, lunch quality, and communication gaps, requesting involvement in policy decisions. Superintendent Bonner reported the district is testing new bathroom management approaches, with additional hall monitors being hired and a new pass system being piloted on secured funding.

Associate Principal Zamer said the administration is working to identify students engaged in vandalism and substance abuse.
