Northampton Zoning Board Approves Two Special Permits

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of July 23, 2026

NORTHAMPTON — The Northampton Zoning Board unanimously approves two special permits on structural changes. The board voted unanimously to grant Eric Winkler a special permit amendment for an accessory garage workspace at 105 Pine Street, with maximum height set at 23 feet 3-7/8 inches. The board also unanimously approved Jared Starr and Stephanie Cuenoud's application to demolish and rebuild a nonconforming house at 32 Clark Avenue as a Passive House, relocating the garage to address topography and fire safety.

The Historical Commission determined the property would not be preferentially preserved.
