Northampton High School course offerings unveiled at student advisory meeting. Student representatives Ana-Lucia Ohm and Zara Usman presented the 2026-2027 course catalog to the Northampton School Committee Student Advisory Council, featuring two new advanced placement courses: AP Music Theory and AP Comparative Government and Politics. The school will offer 20 A/B day courses worth 0.5 credit each, allowing students to take additional classes with less instructional time.
Courses include English composition, psychology, consumer chemistry, Spanish, art history, engineering, videography, chorus, and numerous other subjects. The council learned that AP Comparative Government and Politics will not be offered to sophomores due to difficulty level.
