Northampton deed records show just one priced sale in October

Northampton's Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 11 entries in October, but only four were actual property sales.

Northampton's Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 11 entries in October, but only four were actual property sales; the rest were non-sale filings such as homestead declarations and an estate tax affidavit, plus one nominal-consideration family trust transfer at 29 Winter St. Only one sale carries a recorded price so far: 54 Sherman Ave at $80,000, sold by Florian and Aundrea Marschoun to UMassFive College Federal Credit Union. Three sales, at 35 Rust Ave, 17 New South St Unit 204 and 238 Bridge St Unit C, have price not yet available. With just one priced sale, the month's market tone cannot be characterized from price data alone.
