Northampton Arts Council postpones Youth Poet Laureate to fall

Northampton Arts Council strengthens norms, delays youth poet program. The council voted unanimously to approve prior meeting minutes and decided to postpone the Youth Poet Laureate program to fall rather than launch this school year. A workgroup comprised of Emilia Shaw, Jen Pollins, and Kelsey Socha-Bishop will revise meeting norms for adoption next month.
Poet Laureate Ari is advancing a grant application with Director of Arts and Culture Brian Foote, who will also work with member Kelsey Socha-Bishop on logistics for the fall program launch.
