Northampton Bicycle and Pedestrian Subcommittee receives infrastructure project updates. The subcommittee received updates on multiple capital projects advancing during its March 25 meeting, with Department of Public Works Director Donna LaScaleia reporting on a separated bicycle path on Elm Street with construction mobilizing March 26, SUP bridge repairs along Route 10, and sidewalk studies on Bridge Road. Office of Planning and Sustainability Director Carolyn Misch announced a pedestrian bridge under construction on Old Wilson Avenue and design work for Norwottuck Rail Trail connections funded by a MassTrails grant.
