Northampton schools elect Michael Stein chair of Budget subcommittee. Stein won a 2-1 vote, with Member Robbie Saner Sullivan voting against after discussion of collaboration between the subcommittee, Superintendent, and Finance Committee. Business Administrator Jones presented the FY26 monthly financial orientation, noting circuit breaker funds will support safety monitors.
A $123,000 mid-year Student Services request for behavior technician and speech-language pathology consultants was discussed. Superintendent Bonner outlined the FY27 budget timeline: presentation March 12, public hearing in March, City Council vote in June.
