NORTHAMPTON — The Northampton Human Rights Commission unanimously approved amended December minutes and authorized development of a multilingual trifold containing ICE helplines, sanctuary locations, and resident rights. Commissioner Hermansen will develop trifold language; Commissioner Gore will contact sanctuary-providing churches; Commissioner Goodspeed will draft the trifold and budget for a future public forum; and Commissioner Lawton will research translation options. The commission also began brainstorming actionable steps from a Community Health Needs Assessment to help destigmatize health issues and combat misinformation in Northampton.
