NORTHAMPTON — Human Rights Commission approves I.C.E. resource trifold subject to accuracy verification. Commissioners Goodspeed, Gore, Hermansen, Chapman, and Lawton unanimously endorsed the draft trifold providing community rights information during Immigration and Customs Enforcement encounters, contingent on staff member Amy DiCaprio completing a fact-check. Separately, Kendal Mangum, chair of the Youth Commission Subcommittee of Culture and Racial Justice, presented a Juneteenth celebration set for June 6, 2026 at E.J.
Gare Plaza featuring youth artistic expression, live music, poetry, and Black American and Latinx food vendors; commissioners agreed to assist with planning tasks to be defined after the meeting.
