Finance Committee Elects Klemer as Chair, Robbins as Vice Chair

NORTHAMPTON — Finance Committee elects Klemer chair, Robbins vice chair. The City Council Committee on Finance unanimously elected Councilor Deb Klemer as chair and Councilor Meg Robbins as vice chair at its January 21 organizational meeting. The committee postponed recommendation on Financial Order 26.003, which would appropriate 2.1 million dollars in Free Cash to reserve accounts, pending information about a mid-year school appropriation and the Mayor's FY2027 forecast.
The committee unanimously recommended approval of Financial Order 26.004 to allocate enterprise retained earnings from water, sewer, solid waste, and stormwater enterprises to capital projects.
