Disability Commission plans July Disability Pride Month event at Forbes Library.

Disability Commission · Meeting of April 29, 2026

Northampton Disability Commission approves minutes, advances Disability Pride Month planning for July. The commission voted 4-0-1 to approve its March minutes, with Commissioner Kathy Murri abstaining because she had not attended that prior meeting. Chair Amy Sugihara led the five commissioners present through planning for a July 23 event at Forbes Library, selecting "My City Speaks" and "The Best Day Ever" as books for a story hour and tasking Court Cline with securing an ASL interpreter.

Councilor Jeremy Dubs reported that the city snow removal ordinance has been referred to the Transportation and Parking Commission for review, with a second reading set for May 7.
