Curriculum Subcommittee approves prior minutes, reviews grant and technology work.

Northampton School Committee Curriculum Subcommittee · Meeting of March 25, 2026

NORTHAMPTON — The Northampton School Committee Curriculum Subcommittee learned the district received $250,000 in state reading grant funding. The Partnership for Reading Success grant pairs the state funding with $60,000 in local capital funds for curriculum materials and professional development at Kennedy Middle School, targeting a pandemic-era reading gap. The Curriculum Council will select curriculum on March 26, with state classroom observations in May.

The subcommittee also heard about technology infrastructure planning and approved prior meeting minutes unanimously.
