NORTHAMPTON — Coolidge Standing Committee launches mission review. The committee overseeing the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Library and Museum in Northampton appointed a five-member subcommittee to reassess the institution's mission and priorities under chair William Scher. The committee also advanced a $350,000 fundraising pipeline including a $200,000 Cultural Facilities grant to Massachusetts Camphill Communities, with results expected in May, and a planned $150,000 Community Preservation Act grant application for spring.
Archivist Julie Bartlett Nelson reported that 300 new records were added to the online archive this year, supplemented by 175 postcards transcribed by intern Chris Kennedy during a 130-hour engagement.
