Board of Registrars updates street listing distribution status

Board of Registrars · Meeting of February 12, 2026

NORTHAMPTON — Board of Registrars discusses street listing distribution and voter system transition. Registrars Joseph Tarantino and Mary Lou Stuart, along with Clerk Pamela L. Powers, convened via Zoom on February 12 to review the annual distribution of approximately 15,000 voter street listing envelopes, which had been delayed by a Central Services payment processing issue.

The board discussed transitioning back to the original voter registration system following technical glitches with a new system introduced in January. The board confirmed upcoming state elections: the primary on September 1, 2026, and the general election on November 3, 2026.
