NORTHAMPTON — Arts council creates public art master plan subcommittee. The Northampton Arts Council voted unanimously to create a Public Art Master Plan Subcommittee, advancing the city's public art strategy. The council unanimously approved minutes from its April 14 meeting, with Emilia Shaw abstaining, and discussed the ArtsEZ Microgrant program, which has received approximately 20 applications with preliminary scores due June 2.

Council Members Inde and Clara Barnhart were assigned to develop application data fields for the Poet Laureate program addressing identity and marginalized communities.
